Retrieve Technique - CK40F07
Retrieve Technique
1. Retrieve Technique for Structure

Structure like jettys, floating docks and pylons are great areas to work around when casting the CK 40F07. Cast the lure past the structure, allowing the lure to drift back towards the structure with the current before  working it to the required depths before it reaches the structure for excellent results.

2. Retrieve Technique for Flats

This lure is great for fishing across weeded or reefy flats. Cast the lure across the flats looking for subtle depth changes of patches of clear water in between the weed.

3. Retrieve Technique for Skinny Water

This lure is great for working shallow creek and rivers anywhere in the world. Depending on the speed of the retrieve, this lure can be worked to about 6 feet or can be used to work across the surface or just under to entice a surface bite.

3. Retrieve Technique for Freshwater Impoundments/ Dams

Great for fishing around weeded or lily padded edges. Look for gaps in the weed / lilies working the lure as close as possible to the structure without snagging.

Recommended Outfit

Light spinning outfits 2 to 4 kg rod / 1000 to 2000 reel.
Bait casting outfits – very light – prefer spinning outfits.

Colour Choice
As a general rule, use natural baitfish colours on fine days and in clear water. Use bright colours on overcast days and in muddy waters.
