2. Retrieve Technique for Skinny Water
This lure is great for working shallow creek and rivers anywhere in the world. Depending on the speed of the retrieve, this lure can be worked to about 6 foot or can be used to work across the surface or just under to entice a surface bite.
3. Retrieve Technique for Snags/ Structure
Cast the lure as close as possible to the structure as possible and retrieve the lure with a slow constant winding motion allowing the action of the lure attract the fish. Constant winding with the occasional pause allowing the lure float back to the surface is the best action. If casting close to structure is spooking fish – try casting past or up current of the structure allowing the tidal flow to bring the lure into the strike zone before the retrieve commences.
3. Retrieve Technique for Surface Feeding Fish
Cast the lure into or past the school and retrieve with a constant wind for great results on a variety of species.
3. Retrieve Technique for Freshwater Impoundments/ Dams
Great for fishing around weeded or lily padded edges. Look for gaps in the weed / lilies working the lure as close as possible to the structure as possible without snagging.
