When using the new Ecogear PX 45F surface walker its best to tie your leader directly to the lure with a ‘slip knot’ or ‘blood knot’ style knot. ‘Loop knots’ or ‘snap clips’ add to much drag and hampers this lures performance.

Its best to use floating or mono leader materials like Yamatoyo Pro Line with the PX as traditional fluorocarbon leaders sink and hamper the action of this lure. If using fluorocarbon material its best to apply a small covering of Vaseline or oil based sent to the leader material to aid in buoyancy.

The PX has been designed to be fished with light lines and leaders. A 2kg main line with 1kg or 2kg leader material is the best line set-up for gaining maximum action out of this lure.
